Almost ashamed to say what we paid. $500, & not cash, but a trade for some carpenter work. This is a very heavy built greenhouse. It was constructed by a school & then never used. I'm not sure which company produced it, but surely it is from major manufacturer.
I once ran an add in a newspaper in Minneapolis for a greenhouse. I got 2 responses. Neither one worked out, but I was surprised to get the calls.
You never know where they are or what is for sale.
There was a nice house for sale on a farm auction this spring. I did not attend, as I had the deal going for the one I got.
A friend of ours, 6 or 8 years ago, bought a hoop house at a supermarket auction for $7.00.
Another place to check is real estate people. They may have property for sale that would sell better without the greenhouse on it. You may get one for removing it!
This greenhouse in this picture we bought for half the original price, then they threw in all the benches, numerous fans, computer controls for fans & watering, hundreds of feet of drip hose & tubes. Probably got $4 worth for each dollor we spent. Also included were about 100 cement blocks that are now the foundation of our house addition!
