Jo, I didn't get my lilies early, either, so there was some minor damage, but overall they're looking great. I have been using Ortho Bug-Be-Gone systemic pesticide and fungicide. Great pics from today.

Celeste, thanks for the ID on the Asiatic. I will have to make out a tag for it ASAP.

Lovely shots, Allison. I thought the spider and fly shots were quite interesting. I found a nest of baby spiders today while out photographing my daylilies. I should have taken some pics of it.

I wanted to upload the shots from today, but my computer is acting up and not reading the card. Might have to restart it.

Here are some more pics from the past week.

The first 3 are of a new garden ornament I got that I couldn't resist. It the dragonfly's wings are made from fork and spoon handles, and the body is made from a butter knife handle. It rests on a spoon, which has the handle cut off and is welded onto a stand. The dragonfly is counterweighted with a metal flower. This will become rusty, except for the spoon, fork and knife handles, which are stainless steel, I believe.

Next up are my mini gnomes. I got them a wheelbarrow, which is metal and painted white.

Then there's my nicotiana alata grandiflora.
