What I did was loop a long piece of rope 3 times around a big branch, so that the weight of the basket is distributed and not all on one rope, so hopefully they will not cut into the bark and injure the branch. Unless I use that same branch again, I don't know what to do with the second basket. When I finally do find a spot to hang it, I'll fill it up after it is in place! Love to put fragrant things in them, then hang them right at nose level.
