We arrived the last week in March just-in-time before the last cherry blossum petals fell off the trees, too bad the week before the cherry blossum festival, they were gone, there were no cherry blossums, but the crab apple trees were beginning to open.
At the arboretum, my wife got excited the bonsai collection. And our grand daughter had fun shaking petals off the branches.
