I moved into a home with an established shallow pond & waterfall. ( approx 8-10" deep)
We love it, but over the summer it collects & decays plant material. Any ways to keep it cleaner? I want to prevent the smell, dark water. Our current solution has been to drain it a and clean out the bottom. I looked at special filters. The MN winters are too cold & water too shallow to keep fish.
