This little butterfly is taking nectar from a Cosmos (also native to Mexico). One late afternoon a couple of years ago, as i was sitting on the patio resting and contemplating the progress of the garden, one of these little butterflies came to sit on my arm and we sat there together until the sun started to set...then the butterfly flew away to find a nice leaf to sleep under for the night and i returned to the house. :-D
