This morning I looked out at the tree line about 500 feet behind the house, and saw these two hawks sitting side by side. They stayed put long enough for me to get lots of pictures but it was so early the light was poor and I wasn't able to get anything to brag about. Then they both flew to a tree in our yard and perched about 10 feet apart, then flew off together. Thankfully none of the song birds showed up while they were there. I have never seen two working together like that.
