I watched the fish crows sorta 'gathering' near by, but not actually attacking the hawk here on several occasion. Elphy, fish crows are sizable birds. Just because I'm near the lake, I get to see them 'fishing' many a time to the back yard. Here is one next to an American Goldfinch for size comparision.
