Alice, I do love your camellias, they have such beautiful flowers. Used to grow wonderfully in my mother's garden up in Vancouver, Canada. Our first house had a big camellia bush, too. Only disappointment was the flowers seemed to last such a very short time. In Vancouver they were often ruined by a rain. Is it possible the newer cultivars have longer bloom time or repeat blooms?

My funny little walking iris think it's spring, too. They have another think coming!
