well, I know I took them by surprise with my trip to Winnipeg, so they didn't know what to do with me. When I first mentioned it, my DD Michelle asked me where I was staying, and as no one had asked me, I told her I didn't know.
So, she said I could stay with them all 3 nights, then my DS Ruth said as she was taking me to the airport (return) it would be easier to stay at their place, and my DS Alice is picking me up (my DD is out of town until the afternoon, visiting her MIL and FIL 2 1/2 hours from Winnipeg).
My DS Ruth just emailed me, and said after I visit with my friend, she can pick me up from the restaurant, then pick up Mom and we can go to Ruth's place to have a good long visit until 7pm (then it's back to Michelle's for the night).
Wow - I'm overwhelmed by my DSs' outpouring of feeling and help for me to be able to visit as long as possible with my Mom!!
Then, Thursday night, my DD is having dinner at her home and of course my Mom & I will be seeing each other again!!
neither of these DS's are appreciative of our brother and his "antics". He drinks more than is "nice" because he gets really ratty when he's drinking and thinks he's terribly funny......... but he hurts people's feelings and doesn't care.

Betty - if you win 1/2 of that $50 million, I'll join you in a party lol
