My birds have been harassed by this same Sharp-shinned hawk every day for what seems like weeks. This morning I found him hiding under a tree and decided enough was enough. He was low to the ground so I went out the gate and walked right up to him-he stood his ground! Then three of our young deer herd walked up next to me and got to within 5 feet of him before he finally took off. I thanked my fur friends with a carrot.lol
