We just got back from our first time participating in the Christmas Bird Count. I am glad we went, but my legs and back are hurting something fierce. I've never jumped over creeks or waded through tall grasses like that before. We didn't often stay on the nice mowed trails. :) We only took a couple pictures and if anything they belong on the Dreadful picture thread. We did gain one life bird, a Long eared Owl.
