Your CC is so robust and plump because it just came from a grower where it gets fertilized every time it is watered.
I have worked for a grower--and the watering tank's water was always blue--ass well as tepid.
New plants have to look good to sell.

Now--stick that little, broken off section in a tiny pot to root. I am sure you can snip off a few more without much harm.

I will be taking a lot of little sections to root on my Salmon CC. It is very tall and strong and is now done blooming....

I am sure you will get a couple next year. Just remind me......
