Elphaba wrote: I realized this morning that this was not the same hummer that was visiting my feeders before I left town. This one was a male and the spots on the throat were a rosy purple color. Wasn't able to get a shot showing the throat color but did get one showing rufous in the tail. I'm leaning toward Broad-tailed Hummingbird. What do you think? |
