Teddy, I was told that Pileated Woodpeckers prefer the wooded area. They rarely seen where I'm for instance for we've lot of open spaces being near the water. I recently saw Northern Flickers going after my dogwood berries, but they have not found my suet feeders. My friends who live in the woods get to see Pileated Woodpeckers , where as I have not seen one near my house ever.

Duc, fabulous shots of the Sharp Shinned Hawk, love the Spotted Towhee giving you the look. lol Burn, love that Parula. The Crows, ours keep the Hawks away if they spotted them from a distance. They come in a small group and drove away the predatorial big birds.

I saw some Red-winged Blackbirds and Starlings in a huge flock. They were just passing by and didn't hang around for long.
