I have not had the privilege of growing any of Lari Ann's new hybrids but have seen my friend Texasbigleaves grow them to a tremendous size. I am also keeping my fingers crossed for your robusta x odora, do not only survive the winter but to grow into a monster. That is a variegated Bromeliad "Harveys Pride" from Shirleygk(2077) on e-bay. I have only good remarks for her!! I have completed bringing in plants and can pay attention to the A.Borneo Giant. Would it be advisable to move it to the GH that is kept over 55 F at night with an occasional misting and which is shaded for most of the day or keep it where it is in a GH that is kept no colder than 45 F and gets all day sunshine and the occasional misting from a garden hose? This is a A Calidora x A.cadierii cross that my friend Truetropical made, I love when he plays in my garden. |
