Morning everyone.
I'm a football nut. Used to be just the college football, but since so many SEC kids that I used to root for got drafted in the big leagues, I've been following the NFL too :(
So you all know now where most of my weekends went.
Anywhoooo.. it's Monday!!! And a nice 50s morning, going to be a nice 70s.
This part of NC is a tad warmer than the mountains, which just make this arthritic body happy!!
Susan, you may or not be.. lurking. I hope you had a very restful weekend.
With the wide lid, that might be a stock kettle. One would think for stocks it should be a large pot, but then, if you use a kettle, you just have to keep adding water.
You're right, the mouth is just too big, and iit makes sense for making the removal of the veges after pouring off the liquids.
Never sewn any drapes before Sue. Maybe Barb, LK or Susan? But holler at me anyway if you need directions on how to thread a needle!!!
Oh please, do take pics!!
I don't do Halloween for more than a quarter century. But did pass out treats, till I move here. It will be a very suspicious car if it were to drive up the dirt road just to 'trick or treat'!
Thanks Sis Kathy, hope you had a nice vacation. You might need to take a vacation after that vacation?
Marion, how art thou, sistah? I watched "Maiden Heist" (from Netflix), and I thought you would surely enjoy this light comedy. It got Morgan Freeman in an unlikely character.. and if you like Christopher Walken, he's in it too.
LK, you should be able to hold a good diet for a week after that weekend eating feast!!! I so envy you.. oh for a good BBQ brisket, Texas style!

Okay sistahs!!! Thanksgiving coming soon!!! Before you know it, it's time to start thinking of pumpkins and turkeys! Anyone ready?
