this one's caterpillar eats voraciously for about ten days, then turns into a cocoon for about another ten days. and finally, the beautiful butterfly emerges in the early hours in morning. it rests on the same leave for about an hour till its wings are fully drenched and fully spread out. then it begins its first flight. it comes back to the same plant to give birth to its larva babies. and the cycle continues on and on.
