Seaecho wrote: Hoping to get some help from Olaf, or anyone with Sinningia knowledge! I received a Sinningia Amizale and S. Tauras in the mail today. When I unwrapped the Amizale, the plant fell right out of the pot! I looked, and NO ROOTS at all! I had been very gentle, so I know I didn't tear the roots off when removing it from the wrapping. Yet the plant wasn't the least bit wilted, looked really healthy. The Tauras was just a touch wilted, but at least it had roots to hold it in the pot. I didn't know what to do, so I put the Amizale back in its pot, burying the little "nub" at the bottom of the plant where I assume the roots should be. I didn't see any roots in the medium. How is this possible? For a plant to look so good with no roots? Well, I put it on a pebble tray with its buddy, and checked on it two hours later to find it WILTED. Every leaf is very limp, and it happened that fast! I put it in a gallon zip lock baggie for now. What can I do? I'm waiting to hear back from the seller. Seems all I have lately are problems with one plant or another, lol! Here's a pic I took of the two before the wilting happened. Tauras on left, Amizale on right. Randi Randi |
