Coleus is easy! Just take a tip cutting, remove the bottom leaves, and put it in some fresh potting mix.
It will root and grow really quickly.
I don't mess with water rooting first. To me that is an unnecessary step as the roots would be disturbed
when they transition from water to soil.
Soil-rooting works better--as the roots grow right into the soil.

I rooted all my Coleus last winter and had a bumper crop to share.
