A heavily obstructed North window, lots of food and water, frequent repotting and you'll have a show plant in no time. Leaves root easy and make a few plantlets. So far, my plant has survived temps from 45 to 110 without any complaint whatsoever. It survived nearly two weeks of absolute neglect during our August heat wave (triple digits and humidity in the 80s). I know that it needs grooming and repotting but here it is... Primulina tabacum. Bought 03/19/2011. It was ca. 6 1/2 inches across. Now, 08/24/2011, it's about 20" across, full of flowers and needs repotting - BAD! |
