Hi Calif_Sue
Thank you so much for your help.. I ended up seeing the tag in one the pictures that I had and I zoomed into it and it said LilyLooks "Sunny after Eight" Oriental lilium/ Oriental pot Lily .. I guess that this lily is a part of the sunny series by Lily Looks.. It is meant for a pot so that you can bring it inside. They are a lot shorter.. Its actually a dwarf version of the star gazer lily.. When I looked on the website Lilylooks.. it said that this could actually be named "ministargazer". The flower can get over 8inches wide and the ones in my pictures were about that big almost the same size as a dinner plate.. I bought it from Agway and I am asuming that it was the first year. It also said that stargazers usually need a stake to be held up, well these are so short that they never need that and if it were in a pot that would be a pain... It also said that the foilage never yellows.. I think this was so that you could bring it in through the winter and it would still be good looking especially if you live in cold climates.... they made this dwarf version meant for a pot, also stated ould be planted in a garden but couldnt tolerate freeezing temps. saw pics of my lilies from the person that now lives there because she messaged me on facebook to tell how pretty all the flowers I had there.. They looked way more like the stargazers this year they were not as pink. I don't think they looked as big or as pretty as they were but maybe thats because they were out for the winter... I will send you the link about them if you like.. I figured if you love the stargazers you would def love these "Sunny After Eight" Oriental lilies. Thanks again.. I am so happy I was able to figure it out so that I can have them in my garden again they were an eye catcher thats for sure. Also the fragrance that would overtake my house because they were by my door is what I missed out on this year because I could not find this type of lily... Happy gardening ... thanks again
