Or just may take it off and just use laundry water to water rest of gardens. Two of my clematis plants may be dead. The leaves and stems are totally black. I hope the roots are alive and they come back next year.

On a good note, I went down to southern MO this past weekend on a float trip and had a great time!! Temps were actually halfway decent down there and we got a few scattered showers.
