I think even AM sun is too much for your Cactus. That is why they are a bit faded.
Bright shade is the best way to go....BUT--You may know better--as you grow and sell these....

I still have all my itsy-bitsy pots of X-mas cactus cuttings sitting by my front door.
NO sun at all--as it faces North. They are growing so well! I am sure many of them
will produce a bloom come November.
Then they go back to sitting on the sashes of my windows.....
