I also planted an 'Alee' elm, 'Northern Belle' magnolia virginiana, and a 'Rubin' witchhazel. l bought these and several other varietes of trees and shrubs, including Golden Shadows, Wolf eyes and two hardy southern magnolias from Forest Farm in early spring. They have grown on my deck for several months. My dog Clifford supervised the digging. I still have a number of azaleas, hydrangeas (from Bluestone), fragrant snowbell, and a 'Flava' cornus mas, among other plants, still on the deck. Wish me luck getting it all in!
