A little meat and this fly catcher jar is set in the sun for 2 days. The flies get into the jar, lay their eggs and then can't get back out and die...more feed for the chickens. After the first 2 days in the sun i put the jar in the shade for a few more days (othrerwise the meat gets dry) until I can see the maggies getting bigger. Then just dump the whole thing into a feeding tray and the hens go crazy!!! Sounds like a weird recipe doesn't it? Can't get more natural protein than that.
