HollyAnn, I'm proud to say that the first pic is Lauren's Grape poppy!!! It took me forever to get poppies of any kind started. The birds always ate the seeds and I guess my sowing timing was always off. At one point, I even tried tossing seeds out just before a snow storm, but it didn't work.

These were sown indoors. The seeds came from a DG swap The poppies are self sowing now too, with no problem...go figure. Bunnies decided to eat some of the buds this year. I'm glad we had enough to go around!
