Georgia Peach is one of the first for me..really not a peach color.. but more of a bi-colored one... with yellows and pinks on the new flowers.. striking.. then it becomes more of a one colored peach flower..and ALWAYS with a bloom or two at the least... as a plant.. perhaps Emerald Frost.. [ thanks Brenda ] a lovely double green varaigated with the strongest growth of any... from a cutting to a tree in a season.. this is a cutting from last fall.. planted in one of my gardens @ a friends... having overwintered dormant.. Funny thing.. the planter is a real thick maybe 1 1/2" ceremaic item.. from China.. they used to be about a throw away item.. sold n Chnatown for next to nothing.. as it was a throw away .. used in the shpping of the Chinnese mud eggs to us.. they'd fill them up with eggs packed in the mud for shipment.. now with so many growng.. they are an item.. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Century_egg sorry .. to far away to see the coloration This message was edited Jun 28, 2011 8:59 AM |
