dyzzypyxxy wrote: Debra, my brugs do fine with some sun. This old one outside my window gets 6 hours of sun in the afternoons and it's working on its 3rd bloom cycle this spring. As Drew says, just make sure they get enough water. That being said, I've never had a variegated one before, so maybe Maya will need more shade. But I'd bet it will be fine with morning and evening sun, so maybe put her pot under the wing of one of her big brothers?? My two starts from you are still going gangbusters! Cherub is as tall as me, with pot and is branching from every leaf node. Monster just got a new pot a few days ago and has jumped ahead since then as well. Both are enjoying some sun already, too. Our HD store has rolls of shade cloth for a pretty reasonable price. Roll out a big screen of shade cloth along the fence with the destructive neighbor? Wish I could send you some of my infinite supply of bamboo poles to hold it up with! Hey, what happened to that tall, fiddle-leaf fig tree you rescued last winter? It could supply your plants some shade, surely? That puppy will take lots of sun! |
