Well, we got an agonizing teaser of rain just now - it must have rained for at least 45 seconds . . . argghh. Thunderstorm dark clouds, wind, and it went over at warp speed, one big rumble of thunder and it was gone.

I am watering my cannas and new plants by hand, lugging water from rain barrels. Thank goodness when we built the geek cave we put in two 600gal. cisterns. Even they are under half full now. I have a long hose to fill the smaller barrels around the house from the cisterns.

Noid canna, came in a bargain bag from Costco.
