I tried to grow a hedge of ixora last year to separate the butterfly/hummingbird garden area from the rest of the backyard. The cold winter killed them all. Well, ironically, the milkweed seeds floated around and landed in those beds that the ixora were in. I now have 2 hedges of MW separating those two garden areas. LOL! Who'd have ever guessed that MW makes a nice hedge. When I prune them, they will get even bushier!
