Particularly enjoyed the pics from oz, great capture on the tern. burn, you are lucky to have waxwings in the yard. They are one of my favorite birds, but I don't really see them that often. One of their courtship rituals is to pass flower petals back and forth. You might watch for that. Would be a good scene to photo.

I went back down near the Canadian yesterday and the flooded field has dried up. All the night herons, ducks and shorebirds are gone and the Red-shouldered Hawks have fledged. Didn't see much.

The mockingbirds and bluebirds are getting along better. The male mocker has crowded Daddy off his favorite perching spot and he still tries to perch on the nest box occasionally, but Daddy puts his foot down on that. These mockers can be fierce, watched them chase a squirrel out of the yard yesterday. They don't give up.
