joeswife wrote: gosh u guys, i was wearing a jacket at work today.. it is still kinda cool here like an early spring... My sister is having her surgery after her third chemo unless the dr says she has to do another round, she has done round one of the second stuff, and so far her three week interval between treatments works best for her so she can work.. I am so glad so many of you have prayed for her. I know she has lost weight and her hair, and has been sick alot, and in pain from sciatica along with this stuff.. such a wonderful example of will power and postive attitude. I am so grateful for all of you and the support we have from you. Deepest thanks, and in Memory of my mother who passed away from cancer in 2000, I have planted seeds from my mother's garden, and seeds from my sisters garden, have iris from aunt effies garden and kalancho i collected from Paulines garden before she passed. Tommorrow son and I go to the cemetary where all of these family members are and decorate them all, as we always do every year since I lost his real Dad. Now some of the day after that will be planting flowers and a tree and stuff at his place, again, and some fishing in his boat, and a kiss from his cat, Chief. Today after work, I spent some time with my daughter Rose, we had a great time and at a yard sale we went to, a lady gave me a huge clump of hens n chicks as i gave her some seeds from my garden. Rose kinda didn't approve of my gardening swap at the yard sale, but she got over it.. I have two daughters that have milestone years, Rose just turned 30, single with two cats, refers to herself as the MIddle Child, and Karin, who turns 40 in June, single parent of my 17 yr old GS , Chevy. She is a good caregiver of all her elderly on her Dad's side. She is handling her life changes well. College Girl has been holed up in her room since she has been home, beating herself up for failing College Math. She only needs a few more credits to get her Associates, what ever that is. She is our baby, and is referred to as the :baby: by her older siblings. Diane turns 43 in August and has moved so far away from us that we never see her or the GK's. That is okay for me right now. 4 daughters, 1 son, 3 Grand Fur Kittys. Enough for me ATM.. Tonight Joe and went on a date to see a movie, he said it was sad. I miss my dog. Love you all, and have a good day, warm or cool...((((hugs)))) |
