Do you remember last year or maybe the year before I was looking for a sweet shrub that my grandma used to send me out to cut and bring back for her to put into her pocket to smell when it got warm? Well, I thought I found it, and I bought two, one white which I had never seen before, and the rust/burgandy one which is what I was looking for. This year it bloomed and I was so excited, except, it has NO fragrance, warm or cold, and I never saw them bloom into the flowers they bloom into. As buds they look exactly what I am looking for. But, it is obviously not. WHAT A DISAPPOINTMENT. All this time I waited for it to grow and bloom. The second picture is what I was looking for and thought I purchased.
