Also, if you happen to notice, that is red clay that we have for dirt here...So soon my chickens will have a red tinge to them from rolling around in it. I'm glad I don't have any white chickens because they would all turn red in time from the clay dirt. I that will probably rule out having white silkies - I would probably have to bathe them all the time and then I wouldn't probably get it all completely out. It is almost like trying to get those poke berry stains off your hands.
