Howdy:

Evelyn: I have done that a few times. I did put in a pot of ajuga in my corner and it took off and took over. I am planning to plant my mints in 3 gallon pots burried most of the way down with enough of a raised lip to keep them from getting loose in the beds.

Sharon: I apreciate you sending me th boxes. I am really looking forward to them. I have a lot of things I want to use as stock plants and they need a bigger home than the pots I have them in. It gets really tough to keep them watered in 3.5" pots as they out grow them so fast. Been doing a lot of transplanting plugs and dumping nonproducing pots. I am still giving the pampas grass a chance to come back. I have some serious doubts about it.
If your friend has any extra black bamboo to spare I would kill for a start off it. I think I lost mine from living in the garage over the winter. I think my cat used it as his litter box. I am running out of rocks to put into the posts to discourage the act.

I am planning to try some of my ginger in the garden this year. I have great news, my seeding of poppies took. I don't know which one I have but here is a pic as its starting to open. next pic will be of it late afternoon. Its 4 to 5 feet tall and loaded with buds. Its really a good looking flower.

My cat Lucky had to go to the vet yesterday. when he used the bath tub as a pee spot it was bloody. well he had a bladder infection so we got him 2 shots, some new food and a treat thats suposed to help him keep the infections at bay.

Managed to stick quite a few cuttings yesterday. Finished up the prowis castle artamesia 2 trays, did some Hi Ho Silver thyme 1.5 trays, chocholate mint 1/2 tray and a variegated mint.

i got in 3 new buddleija stock plants. Pink Delight, Griffen Blue (a mini) and Honey Comb. I started taking cuttings from the rooted cells as they seemed to need a trim anyway. Well not much else going on today.

Have a great day and here is my poppy
