nutsfordaylily, Postage issues for me when owning bookstores and doing tons of shipping got solved when I started charging a per book price that would almost always cover my expenses, but to be fair to the customers I would do a refund if the amount turned out to be more than the actual flat rate charged to them by at least a dollar. Any overage of less than a dollar stayed with me. It was mostly just pennies and took care of my time to pack and go to the PO. I had to do a fair number of refunds, or issue credits, but didn't get stuck with charging too little which could really mount up. For customers with in-store accounts, I charged them the actual amount after the books were shipped. Those were easy. Good luck.

Today I am trying to make sure I have the right ID on a Narcissus that Mr.Narcissus wanted to know about. I would hate to send him the wrong name. Ironically another of my regular garden articles was just published last week about Collecting Historic Narcissus, but not sure if any of them read it. I think I might send him a copy, but kind of shy. I am pretty sure he was looking at a sweet one called N.Pueblo. Not a historic. But mine seem taller, so I need to go out and measure them this morning and take more photos.

Quoting:N.Pueblo
Division: 7 - Jonquilla
Colors: W - W
Division Description:
Usually several flower heads to a stem, flowers usually fragrant, stem is round in cross-section and foliage is often rush like.
Season: Mid-Season to Late
Height: Dwarf - less than 32.5 cm (12.8 in)
Hybridizer: Grant E. Mitsch
Country: United States
Year Registered: 1966
Comments:

Fl. 76 mm wide; corona opening lemon yellow, becoming milk white.

I also have to get cracking on my next couple of articles and do some planting on this not for shorts, cool day. I heard from PollyK that my Sibs are being shipped this week. I finally heard that a Terra Nova plug sale that I did last summer for spring shipping for Heuchera, Hellebore and Acanthus plus a couple other things is being shipped next week. So I am down to only a couple more small orders coming. Some Caladiums, cannas and one with some variety from Deer-resistant landscape. We have a pile of lily bulbs to plant this week too, before they explode out of the cool closet I have them stored in to try to keep them from growing too much. Out to do battle. Patti
