Bulbs: Tulips Re-appeared this spring, 1 by newyorkrita

Funny thing is that I planted them years ago, they bloomed the following spring and maybe even the year after (can't remember) but the past two years they deffinatly did not bloom. Now suddenly this spring there they are back and all blooming this spring. Feels like new tulips and I just had forgotten about them until I see blooms. I find this re-appearing strange.
