Suspect it is a variety of Mullein, but wonder if anyone else can identify it. It grew almost 6 feet tall, and it was a windy day when I took the photo so it's not reproduced well. Leaves are soft velvety pale green and it has a large seed stalk (or two) . Now, in spring it's brown and dead, but still standing!
