I ran one for a few years in my late 20's and never did get around to getting a license either so I must go tomorrow and get a permit, too. I took it out for a little tour around the neighborhood but I won't take it out on the main roads till he has a license plate on it. It sure is a lot easier to run than my old motorcycle electric start and automatic no kicking it to get it started or changing gears with your foot. LOL It should pay for it's self in gas savings.
