Insect and Spider Identification: Is this Garden Spider egg sac ever going to hatch?, 1 by whodoesdo

She laid two sacs in October and then died. We lost one sac during a storm in the winter but the other one is still there. Everything I've read says it's supposed to hatch in the "spring" But we're in south texas, it's almost may and we're already in almost 90 degree weather. When is "spring" going to happen?? I concerned they might be dead? or maybe we missed it? Does the egg sac "deflate" when they leave?

The reason it matters is we need to power wash the windows, badly, but we don't want to harm the sac if it's still thriving.

Anyone know?
