I qualify on both counts. :-) Other things in my garden include some "yardifacts" a term I apply to a growing pile of broken pottery done in by our heavy winds. Looks like some ancient civilization being uncovered. A Tiki-God found floating in SF Bay, a wall sink from one of the Eastern Block apartment complexes, old grates, another bath-tub from Hungary, a large decorative metal piece from an old SF building, an old urn decaying and covered with green mold, an old kitchen pot rack turned into a planter, old bird cages, driftwood from San Francisco Bay. The difference between "junk" and "yard-art" is in arranging it artfully. LOL, that's my story and I'm sticking to it. I think there are some other threads with images of some of my "stuff"...... http://davesgarden.com/t/424626/ http://davesgarden.com/t/422519/ Can't locate some of the others, but I know I've posted images of the wall sink and other tubs. This one isn't in my garden, but I've been tempted to copy it: http://davesgarden.com/t/394956/ |
