Who ever said the starlings and sparrows would not eat out of the upside down feeder were wrong, I go out to the entryway and pull back the curtain and there are the sparrows fighting to get on the feeder. I think we may have to stop feeding the suet cake in the summer, the all season cakes are just too expensive. I'm going to hate that because I love to watch the woodpeckers while they eat. The peanut butter on the tree didn't work too good, the squirrels got to it before the woodpeckers did, but I just looked out and I must have gooten some further in the cracks, because mama and papa rb wp are on the tree and they are going crazy eating the peanut butter. I am going to have to find some way to get it further in the cracks so the squirrels can't eat all of it. Got a great pic for you. Mama and Papa and a Downy all in one shot!
