Creeping Jenny is a good old reliable plant but some people find it grows too much or too fast. If that happens just cut it off and plant it elsewhere. It can take shade. The Black Dragon should look wonderful with the Creeping Jenny.

Clematis Nelly Moser is widely available, easy to grow and can take some shade - maybe more shade down in warm Mobile!
