Variegated has the white stripe in the middle, and reverse has the white stripe along the edges. I need to look up their botanical names. I have untreated, out-in-the-boondocks well water but do not know the components. It seems to do well for my plants. They get room-temperature well water with a smidgen of granulated Miracle-Gro (extremely diluted-almost clear) each time I water them. They are potted in orchid soil (available at Walmart) in plastic pots with large drainage holes at the bottom. When I water them, the water flushes right through and out the bottom again. They do not sit on a saucer. (I would rather ruin my window ledges than ruin the plants, I guess.) |
