Anybody know what this is? I live on the south coast of the UK and I think it is a False Widow spider, I have found several of these around my Garage and they seem to eat mainly Woodlice and smaller spiders looking at the large webs.
Keen to find out because if it is a False Widow (Steatoda nobilis) they are poisonous!

I know nothing about spiders, so apologies in advance if it is some common house variety!!!

I will also add, that the body is a little bigger than a garden pea. around 1.5inches long, leg to leg.

Many Thanks
Andy
