I have a very large (220+) collection of hibiscus, from 1 year old to 6 or 7 years old. Due to declining health (I'm disabled), and rising health care costs, I'm being forced to get rid of my plants. The vast majority of my plants have come from either Hidden Valley Hibiscus, The DuPonts, and Hibiscus Place. They were cut back late fall, and have had their first round of fertilizer, wake-up spray and Super Nova. Most lost their leaves during the winter and my last move, but are recovering really nicely, with little starts of green everywhere. They all have been consistently well taken care of, receiving lots of regular fertilization and love. Some pictures, from past years (although many don't have a picture up yet), can be found at http://www.amarantha.phanfare.com/ For you collectors, some are very uncommon, and most are already sold out at the online stores listed above. I'm willing to take offers, as I'm moving again at the end of the month, and would prefer not to move them again. All are in beautiful glazed pots, which will also be sold, either with or without the plants. I've attached a few pictures here to give you the idea, but if you are seriously interested, please dmail me for a listing of what's available. I know I could sell these for top dollar on Ebay once they leaf out later this spring, but my health is very poor and frankly, I need money to pay my health related bills. Besides, I'd really rather they go to collectors who will love them as much as I have :-) I'll be living in Corona, CA until the end of the month, so for any of you locally, send me a Dmail, and come on over. I also have a number of plumerias, tree ferns and named daylilies that will be for sale too. First picture is one of the large ones leafing out, to give you an idea of plant size. Thanks :-) karen |
