i also have an amarylis, ? which one, that a friend sent me for my birthday. well it arrived frozen 2 times, so then harry and david's sent me a planter with 3 bulbs in it. they bloomed on 18" stems. each bulb produced 2 stalks of flowers with 3 buds each. the last blossom opened 2 days ago. they have been blossoming for 51 days now. i can't believe that indoors, with a warm house temps and such it lasted this long and beautiful the whole time. it was just what the doctor ordered to have these flowers as i waited for the weather to warm here.
