Right now we aren't getting any sunshine but that's okay, we really need the rain! It's been so dry here for so long and there've been brush fires popping up around the county. It's been very warm down our way, mid to upper 80's and on Sunday it hit 91º. I'll wish real hard fro some of the sunshine and warmth to head north! Rita: Love, Love, Love the big ears in your photo here: http://davesgarden.com/community/forums/p.php?pid=8457957 It makes me wish I had more space for more plants but since I decided to try to downsize a year or so ago I've been real good (so far, LOL) ... but it's sooo hard when I look at all the beauties in everyone's pictues! I sure agree about plants from family and friends being treasures! I have a Hoya carnosa and Epiphyllum oxypetalum that were given to me by an elderly couple (in their 80's) back in the mid 1970's. They were special folks and though long gone now, I still think about them every time I look at my plants. I also have this dwarf Schefflera in the backyard that my mom gave us in a mixed container arrangement for our 15th anniversary (we've been married almost 42 years now.) |
