If you are referring to the Daturas, I soak in hand hot water over night. I don't nick. Then I place the seeds in a moist paper towel, inserted in a baggie. Place the baggie where it is warm, such as topof fridge. Mine sprouted in a few days. I then plant them in potting soil in a 6-pack to continue growing until safe to plant outdoors.
